Hi there! I’m Carolyn Tate from Dress Up and Glow Up! I’m a freelance makeup artist servicing the Central Florida area and Greater Atlanta area, but always eager to travel to you. My passion for makeup started in my time in high school and college theatre. I always loved playing with super fun eyeshadow and red lipstick was always my staple. After leaving college to pursue a dream with the Walt Disney Company I quickly realized that pursuing makeup was the dream I wanted to dive myself fully into. Although I am mostly a self taught artist, I have attended the school of Aveda for Cosmetology. I love to chat with my ladies to get to know them and make them feel comfortable. Whether it’s makeup for your big day, for your first prom, or just for a date night, I’m driven to make everyone I work with feel empowered and confident before I even pull out my makeup brushes. My passion is to make all my ladies feel inspired and to feel like the royalty they are. I might even tell you that you’re a queen. I can’t wait to work with you for your special occasion!
